How to Conserve Space in Your Home with a Collapsible Ladder

Defined Tag:

We have all owned a traditional ladder at some time during our lives. They are big, bulky, take up a lot of room even when they are fully closed and can be a real pain to carry around on a job site – even if that job site is a few feet away from where you store the ladder. The fact of the matter is that they are built on technology that is completely outdated – technology that has been replaced by something much better, easier to use and far less cumbersome. This new type of ladder that is destined to replace all traditional ladders is known as a collapsible ladder and has a hallmark ability which allows it to collapse down to many times smaller than its fully extended size, making it easy to use and even easier to store. No longer to you have to move around countless tools, supplies and other stuff you have lying in front of your ladder.

Unfortunately, despite all of its amazing benefits, a collapsible ladder is actually not for everyone. While the ability to collapse is perfect for storage and ease of use, it unfortunately lowers the amount of weight that the ladder can hold before it breaks. Most collapsible ladders are only rated at between two hundred and two hundred fifty pounds, meaning that if you are over six feet tall and have any muscle mass whatsoever, you may not be able to mount a collapsible ladder safely. While most people will simply disregard this safety precaution, be warned that, though rare, exceeding the specified weight can actually cause a ladder to fail over time. Also, unlike traditional ladders which are becoming cheaper and cheaper, a collapsible ladder is rather expensive in comparison to its competition. However, if you are looking for a high quality and durable ladder that is also able to fold up into a very tiny space for storage, then you should certainly turn your eye to the collapsible ladder market – you will not be disappointed with your purchase.
